Spanish GP Fantasy Review

The F1 Fantasy Spanish GP 2026 points wrap-up rewarded players who trusted Kimi Antonelli, as the championship leader converted P2 on the grid into victory after a perfectly timed Virtual Safety Car swung the race away from Lando Norris. Lewis Hamilton was the biggest bracket wrecker, retiring early with brake trouble, while Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz also punished budget lineups with DNFs. Unlike recent rounds, positions-gained bonuses did little to rewrite the midfield order, with the Madring proving extremely difficult to overtake. Franco Colapinto and Liam Lawson were the standout value performers, finishing P7 and P6, with Colapinto delivering the better PPM return.

Kimi Antonelli pulled through as usual, while Lewis Hamilton’s DNF brought Ferrari’s score down. Thankfully, we used our No Negative chip, which negated the 20 points Ferrari and Hamilton lost.

Fresh Price Changes & Budget Outlook

Antonelli and Mercedes have effectively locked in price increases after consecutive strong races, making both increasingly expensive but valuable core assets. Elsewhere in Tier A, every driver needs a major points haul to rise, while Ferrari’s back-to-back DNFs leave the constructor with a difficult path to an increase. Audi’s strong Italian GP has made its next increase much more attainable, while recent DNFs have pushed Aston Martin and both their drivers firmly toward price decreases.
