FP1 & Sprint Qualifying Data Drop: What We Learned
F1 Fantasy Singapore GP 2026 practice data came with plenty of caveats, as mixed tyre programs and only one session made fuel loads difficult to read. George Russell topped FP1 on softs, but Max Verstappen’s pace was more alarming—he was over half a second quicker than every other medium-tyre runner before confirming that speed with Sprint pole. Kimi Antonelli led the early hard-tyre running, but his P7 Sprint Qualifying result is worrying, while Nico Hulkenberg’s gearbox issue adds reliability risk to an otherwise appealing value pick. Overall, Verstappen has strengthened his premium case, while Isack Hadjar’s struggles weaken our early-week 2× Boost plan.

Fantasy Implications from the Paddock
- Max Verstappen: He took Sprint pole and escaped a post-Sprint Qualifying yellow flag investigation without a penalty.
- Liam Lawson: His P8 Sprint Qualifying result puts him in a points-paying starting position, making him a promising budget asset.
- Kimi Antonelli: He struggled in both FP1 and Sprint Qualifying, finishing P7 in both sessions. This makes Verstappen more attractive at a very similar price point.

Final Strategy: Verstappen looked much quicker than Antonelli, especially after taking Sprint pole, so we’re switching back to him and running the same lineup we had in Malaysia. Hadjar remains our second best option, with the hope he can make up positions from the midfield.
