Three years after Audi announced it would join F1, the team unveiled its livery concept, making its 2026 debut that much closer—that much more real.

The Audi R26 Concept

The concept is sleek and looks like a signature Audi vehicle through and through. This is about as effective as it gets in hyping up the F1 world about their official car unveiling in January.

High expectations for Audi

Audi’s entry into F1 comes with tons of fanfare, as they’ve virtually won everywhere else, and they are coming onto the tracks with a very legitimate plan to win.

The memo reads: Be winners by 2030.

There is a lot of work cut out for them, but they are a team primed for success. The technical know-how, the financial backing, the proven track record, and the talented drivers they have in Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hülkenberg… It’s a perfect recipe expected to yield success.

F1 marks a new chapter for Audi

The storied racing history of Audi will add a new chapter in just a few short months as Audi makes its F1 debut. There will definitely be renewed rivalries on the track (hello Mercedes, my old friend), and there will be envy from more teams than not.

While the arrival of Audi does mark the end of the Kick Sauber era and their bright green livery, the sleek new look of Audi on the grid will be something to watch.

With the incoming vehicle regulation changes for 2026, Audi could already have a distinct technical advantage. Early podium finishes are not unrealistic, and eventual dominance is very much on the roadmap. Both Hulkenberg and Bortoleto performed better than their point totals suggest, with really strong lap times. This should be the start of a new era for both drivers/

This livery reveal is just another milestone as Audi’s F1 entry goes from dream to reality. Lights out with Audi on the track is going to change everything.
